Com poppies are seen and hidden
In grasses growing thick
Hands to give poison
Must have forgotten them

今このときの寵児となれり


Absorbing all the light
Green leaves of persimmon
Claim their freshness,
The beloved children of this season

There is an old apartment
In the garden where kerria grows thick
There lives a solitary old man
With great composure

A blessed tree of dogwood
Sprinkles shower of white light

Light falls through tree leaves
I look up to feel I met
Somebody's gentle eyes

Along the twigs of Hanazuou
Grow the flowers
In spring gloom at a bus stop
I hear talkativeness

Finally comes
The morning of departure
Tulips bloom just in time
To celebrate it faithfully

花の奥なる焔(ほむら)に染まる


On the verge of petals falling
Calyxes turn scarlet
To put the whole tree in a flame
With the fire inside of flowers
